High school or GED required 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment preferred. 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred. Gasoline, diesel required; propane vehicle experience preferred. Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude. May be required to supply automotive hand tools; not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools. ASE certification preferred. CDL Class A preferred or willing to train   What you’ll do: Responsible for performing mechanical repairs & preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles. Primary focus will be on preventative maintenance and DOT inspections while assisting with repairing equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance in fleet. Respond to service calls. Maintain tools. Clean work area. Pick up and deliver vehicles. A High School Diploma or GED is required with a Bachelors’ preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Unless you’re planning to pay for UBER, a taxi or some other service, you’ll need a valid driver’s license and relatively clean driving record for the last two years.
