What will you do?
As the Lab Quality and Safety Manager you will update, review, and execute policies that define the expectation for Quality Management and Laboratory Safety at the OSPHL. You will support a safe work environment by overseeing a comprehensive safety program for a complex laboratory composed of biosafety level 2 and biosafety level 3 spaces, ensuring employee safety and compliance with OSHA, CDC Select Agent Program, and the College of American Pathologists, while encapsulating culture of continuous quality improvement.

The Research and Data (RAD) Manager is responsible for managing policy, operations, data systems and administrative matters relating to the development, implementation, oversight, evaluation, and funding of healthcare activities in the state of Oregon.
This position’s primary responsibility is to direct resources and operations to achieve outcomes through the management of a large team of mid- and upper-level operations, policy and research professionals. The RAD Manager provides hands-on guidance, coordination, leadership, feedback, and technical assistance to staff who support broad and diverse functions related to data collection, analysis, interpretation and policy development. This position has latitude to change the scope of operations and recommend changes to policies and procedures.
The RAD Manager is responsible for implementing three statutorily required health care data collection programs integral to informing health system transformation in Oregon: the All Payer All Claims (APAC) Reporting Program, which collects claims, enrollment, and encounter information from Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers in Oregon; the Hospital Reporting Program, which collects hospital financial, community benefit and discharge data; and the Health Care Workforce Reporting program, which collects information from the licensed health care workforce. What will you do?
As the Foodborne Research Analyst, you will provide technical assistance to communicable disease staff regarding foodborne disease reporting and investigation requirements, manage data entry, maintain the database and assist in data analysis which includes data summaries, graphs and tables. You will coordinate contracted OSU interviewers, interview Campylobacter and other foodborne disease cases as needed, track collected data and interviewer metrics to assure quality control. You will also generate reports for CDC and respond to queries.
In this position, you will interview cases and controls as needed for the FoodNet case series and case-control studies, ensure integrity of study data, assist with data analysis under supervision of an epidemiologist, and monitor and report on status of various studies. What will you do?
As the Foodborne Research Analyst, you will provide technical assistance to communicable disease staff regarding foodborne disease reporting and investigation requirements, manage data entry, maintain the database and assist in data analysis which includes data summaries, graphs and tables. You will coordinate contracted OSU interviewers, interview Campylobacter and other foodborne disease cases as needed, track collected data and interviewer metrics to assure quality control. You will also generate reports for CDC and respond to queries.
In this position, you will interview cases and controls as needed for the FoodNet case series and case-control studies, ensure integrity of study data, assist with data analysis under supervision of an epidemiologist, and monitor and report on status of various studies. You will recruit, train, and coordinate additional help as needed to collect and enter data and review work of others involved with data collection and entry. You will monitor various public-health databases, assist database users and help implement data quality improvements of the outbreak tracking database and then report complete data to the CDC.
