Position Description
America Votes is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to serve as the Voting Rights Manager as a part of a team focused on voting rights in Wisconsin. This position will require flexibility, creativity, and a sense of humor. The Voting Rights Manager will play a key support role in creating program resources while assisting the Wisconsin Deputy State Director, Voting RIghts with the program and research goals. This person will be a critical part of supporting the election administration work America Votes does and be responsible for maintaining dashboards, creating reports, matrices, relationships with local election officials and activists, and legislative tracking. This person will be identifying important news stories related to election administration and municipal clerks and sharing that information with the larger team. Required

Our compensation ranges are based on salary ranges for similar sized organizations in the professional services sector and adjusted for local labor market rates and differentiated by geography.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
America Votes is seeking a well-organized campaign strategist and people manager for a full-time position as Voting Rights Campaign Director as a part of a growing team focused on voting rights in New Hampshire. The position works directly with the America Votes team in New Hampshire and will support advancing team priorities and goals. The Voting Rights Campaign Director will work with the America Votes coalition and lead a nonpartisan coalition, the NH Campaign for Voting Rights (NHCVR), to organize around key voting rights issues in the state legislature and ensure voting access for all Granite Staters. The Voting Rights Program Director will bring key organizations and stakeholders together to execute the larger coalition strategy around this work that focuses on protecting access to the ballot, election administration modernization, and easing the administrative burden of election officials. The Voting Rights Campaign Director will supervise the growing team of staff focused on voting rights as well as provide required reports to funders for this program. This position reports to the New Hampshire State Director and the National Voting Rights Director.
LOCATION
This position is based in Concord, NH. America Votes has offices located in DC and CO, FL, GA, MI, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, OH, PA, and WI. America Votes is currently working remotely, however if you are based in a state with an America Votes office, a hybrid approach may be possible depending on local guidance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the direct supervision, hiring and management of some state team staff, including the growing team focused on voting rights and election administration. Manage staff to goals for success in meeting organizational goals. Manage special projects to deliver on team goals.
Build and manage relationships with key elections officials and current coalition members including managing the operations of the New Hampshire Campaign for Voting Rights (NHCVR).
Grow the NHCVR coalition membership through community connection. Support external communications with partners (i.e. may include weekly emails) and workgroup listservs, meeting follow-up, regular phone calls, etc. Organize and facilitate coordinated and/or collaborative partner events, including engagements like coalition meetings and trainings.

A Better Wisconsin Together (ABWT) is seeking a full time Digital Associate to assist in building and maintaining digital content and working closely with the communications and research teams to implement ABWT strategies online.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage day to day content loading in a variety of content management systems. They will thrive working in a team environment to create and implement content strategies for priority issues and campaigns.
This position reports to the Digital Director and works in partnership with the research and communications team members.
About A Better Wisconsin Together
ABWT, the new progressive state communications and research hub in Wisconsin, is seeking a digital associate to join our team. We’re an advocacy organization focused on public policy and serving as a center for progressive message development, testing and communications. This is an exciting position where you will be working with a team to advance progressive values. Along with rapid response and earned media, ABWT engages Wisconsinites on issues using paid digital, television and radio communications.
This position is based in Madison, Wisconsin, but may require some travel, as well as evening and weekend hours, as needed. We are a small, nimble team working in a fast-paced environment on the frontlines of the fight to advance progressive values and policies in Wisconsin.
Job Responsibilities
● Work under the direction of the Digital Director and assist in the deployment of content; developing, pulling, and analyzing digital data; and reporting on analysis of digital data and metrics toward ABWT’s goals
● Assist with website management, design and maintenance--including building and maintaining microsite and landing page content
● Track online statistics and campaigns
● Assist with online scheduling and content production
● Edit and proofread a variety of content types for the website, ensuring it meets style, tone and marketing message requirements, as well as reflecting brand standards
● Own projects end-to-end as assigned and overseen by manager

Qualifications We are seeking candidates who have strong technical skills, who understand and have experience
managing digital content and who are interested in a f ast paced, team oriented environment. You should have:
● Demonstrated creative and analytical writing abilities
● Understanding of digital advocacy and proficiency with social media
● A curious work style that is innovative and data driven
● A strong commitment to working in a tight team with positive, supportive attitude
● Experience with or an ability to quickly learn platforms like ActionKit, Wordpress, ActBlue, or StriveDigital
● Technology friendly, extra credit for proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or other graphic design or video editing software
● An demonstrated commitment to disrupting racism and other systemic barriers in the advocacy world
Salary is between $40,000-$50,000 annually. Benefits include health and dental insurance.
