JOB PURPOSE:
The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Wyoming invites applications for an Assistant Lecturer in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Human Development and Family Science focus; a nine-month academic year, non-tenure track position with eligibility for a fixed-term with rolling contract appointment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in areas such as child development, intimate relationships, family relationships, professionalism and communication in family and consumer sciences, and family decision making and resource management. In addition, the individual will be expected to advise/mentor undergraduate students and provide service to the department, college, university and discipline.
