What makes this role unique? You will assist your team members on the Technical Team to ensure we are receiving all necessary new hire paperwork for new employees, and for any internal movement actions for existing Ecology employees. You will help complete student loan forgiveness forms, verifications of employment forms, some inquiries from the Employment Security Department, assist with HRMS entry for select actions, and help to ensure our central files are up-to-date and maintained. What you will do:
Manage the onboarding paperwork for Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) and Ecology Youth Corps (EYC) members, by accurately entering new/rehires and separations into in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), complete Personnel Action Forms (PA40’s) for EYC crew members and submit paperwork to our payroll partners.
Track paperwork for all Ecology hires, to ensure we are receiving all necessary new hire forms. These forms include employee information, affirmative action and demographics, I-9, new employee checklists, and emergency contact.
Complete Public Service Loan Forgiveness forms as they are received.
Receive and complete employment verifications received via telephone, fax, email, or mail by verifying employment of current or former employees in a timely manner. Process and complete necessary forms or letters, providing our payroll partners with the necessary forms to complete the request.
Assist in maintaining up-to-date position and personnel files. This includes printing completed, approved paperwork, and filing them in the appropriate place in the correct file.

Departmental Overview
The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducts research and education on issues related to labor and employment. The Labor Center’s student engagement and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The Labor Center carries out policy relevant research on topics such as job quality and workforce development, and works with unions, policymakers and other stakeholders to develop innovative policy perspectives and programs. The Labor Center provides an important source of research and information on unions and the changing workforce for students, scholars, policymakers and the public. Departmental Overview
The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducts research and education on issues related to labor and employment. The Labor Center’s student engagement and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The Labor Center carries out policy relevant research on topics such as job quality and workforce development, and works with unions, policymakers and other stakeholders to develop innovative policy perspectives and programs. The Labor Center provides an important source of research and information on unions and the changing workforce for students, scholars, policymakers and the public. Reporting to the Student Engagement Director, the Program Coordinator performs a variety of moderately complex to difficult tasks across a variety of administrative functions in support of varied programs offered by the Center for Labor Research and Education (Labor Center). Tasks include developing materials and database for program outreach; ensuring each program has the appropriate logistical support; preparing materials for delivery to program participants; assisting program leads with evaluation of the program after completion. The BLM's multiple-use mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use of enjoyment of present and future generations. The incumbent carries out the following specific responsibilities :
Administers a broad and complex program of conservation, recreation, and commercial uses, on both the surface and the subsurface estate. In addition, the State Director has the mineral leasing and locatable mineral management responsibilities for those lands where the surface is managed by other Federal agencies, and the responsibility for all cadastral survey work in the state(s) administered.
Leads efforts to reduce climate threat on public lands using conservation practices recommended by scientists to safeguard every community's health, food supply, biodiversity and prosperity for protecting lands and waters.
Establishes statewide program goals and priorities designed to meet the economic and social demands placed on natural resources consistent with prudent conservation and protection.
Provides executive leadership and direction for all Bureau actions within the state(s) compatible with the Bureau, Departmental, and Administration objectives and policies such as multiple use of resources; appropriate balance between resource protection and development; dealing effectively with economic and other interest organizations and groups, including mining and livestock associations, environmental and conservation groups, renewable energy companies, and oil and utility companies; and working effectively with other stakeholders and Federal agencies.
Serves as the focal point for the Bureau at the State Office level including engaging in meaningful tribal consultation and meeting tribal consultation statutory obligations; assuring public awareness of Bureau programs; and coordinating with key officials in affected Federal agencies and involved individuals.
Coordinates, correlates, and reconciles the various functional programs for the public lands under their jurisdiction with state, local, and private industry resource management interests to achieve an optimum balance between resource capacity and economic and social demands for services and resources.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Curator of Saltwater will help oversee the care of the saltwater animals as well as supervise staff. Reporting to the Curator of Saltwater, this position will develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures relevant to the personnel and the Saltwater collection at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. This individual will also help orchestrate all aspects of animal care, including but not limited to; acquisition, disposition, record keeping, husbandry, enrichment, implementation of balanced and nutritional diets, translocations, medical procedures and vaccinations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Zoology, Biology or related field
A minimum 7 years’ proven experience in an aquarium or zoo environment, demonstrating a proven record of animal husbandry, enrichment and exhibition of a variety reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates
