Software IV&V Engineer (#1681998)

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software IV V Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The candidate will conduct Integration, Verification and Validation (IV V) of aircraft related software in a laboratory environment. The candidate will be responsible for various activities such as building harnesses to connect hardware, building binaries to perform a binary comparisons of contractor delivered code and perform Configuration/Data Management for all Software, Test Scripts, Builds and artifacts.

Required Skills/Experience:

Background in Systems and Software Engineering. Experiencing designing, building, and sustaining a laboratory environment, to include cabling, test equipment, bus monitoring acquisition and analysis

Must be able to read, understand and generate wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings in multiple formats

Experience in testing of aviation systems and subsystems including avionics, controls, and sensors. Software

Engineering experience with an understanding of C+ coding and software certification, DO-178C/DO-254

Knowledge of MIL-STD 1553 and/or ARINC 429. Understanding of System Engineering including requirements traceability and verification

Experience Leading small independent teams

Ability to generate presentation material and schedules to present to Integrated Product Teams

Knowledge of Software Applications and Tools to include: MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project. Perl, Cygwin, IBM Rational Team Concert, SCADE, Microsoft Visual Studio Express, Jenkins Server, Adobe Distiller, Anaconda, GEPyPlot, SCItools Understand, Beyond Compare, Flawfinder, Docker, HexWorkshop, AltaView Analyzer Software

Travel: Up to 10%

Must be a U.S. Citizen

An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field and at least five years of relevant experience. Systems Integration Labs and/or Hardware Test Facilities.
