Software Assurance Analyst (#1706323)

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Assurance Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

We are looking for candidates with Software Development and Assurance expertise to be part of the PeopleTec Cyber Team. This position will include technical engineering support and research in the area of Software Assurance to include the analysis of software source code and binary executable files. The candidate will perform software analysis using automated analysis tools and manual techniques to identify coding flaws, exploitable vulnerabilities, and malicious indicators in software applications. The candidate will also provide detailed reports of identified issues and work with program office and software development personnel to analyze and identify mitigations. Additionally, the candidate may conduct research on emerging software assurance tools and provide detailed reports on tool capabilities and applicability to the client's software assurance requirements. The candidate will attend software assurance working group meetings, conferences, and briefings as required.

Required Skills/Experience:

Development in C, C++, C#, .net, JAVA

Familiarity with SwA tools such as Fortify, Checkmarx, CodeSonar

Sec +

4-6 years development experience

3-5 years of security experience

Travel: 10%

Must be a U.S. Citizen

An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

BS and 6 years of experience or 12 years experience without degree

CISSP preferred

Experience with Fortify   other SwA tools
