Advanced Technology Engineer (#1712625*)

PeopleTec is currently seeking an Advanced Technology Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The candidate will assess new technologies and prototypes for Missile Defense System applications to meet mission gaps assigned to the Missile Defense Agency. Directly support Advanced Technology leadership on a daily basis. Attend Technical Reviews/review white papers and concept papers, assess presentations/papers, and summarize findings/recommendations for leadership. Assess Technology Readiness Levels, risks, and operational concepts of development efforts and prototypes. Evaluate operational concepts for realism and likelihood of success. Build PowerPoint briefings for Executive Level presentations. The candidate will also collaborate with the BMDS architect and other stakeholders to explore and define advanced architectures and concepts to fill identified system performance needs and conduct system and sub-system performance analysis to understand the benefits, risks, and military utility of advanced concepts, and conduct system trades to allocate initial performance requirements.

Required Skills/Experience:

• System Engineering experience
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Experience with PowerPoint presentations
• Excellent writing and speaking abilities
• Ability to assess technologies or prototypes using objective criteria
• Travel: 5%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science with 12+ years of experience

Ability to serve in the MDA offices within the Von Braun complex

• Experience with building POM Inputs
• MDA System Engineering Experience
• Top Secret Clearance - current or held in the past
• Professional Certifications for System Engineering or Risk Management
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
• Master's Degree
• Experience with developing Operational Concepts or CONOPS
