Position Summary:

Qualifications and Requirements:
Master’s degree in social work or advanced degree in a related field, preferably in social work, counseling, or related specialty (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMHC).
Advanced fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, is required.
Licensure (or able to obtain licensure within six months of hire), SIFI certification, and experience supervising MSW interns.
Minimum five years of experience working with immigrant populations, unaccompanied minors, at-risk youth, or young children (depending on the location).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in social services or non-profit organizations.

Essential Job Functions
Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manages a portfolio of businesses ensuring a standard for successful relationship maintenance is achieved through responsiveness to ensure their unique workforce training objectives are met; and Hawkeye Community College is the preferred training provider.
Provides consultation and assessment services to evaluate business needs and develop solutions.
Facilitates training sessions, conferences, events, and other professional development opportunities.
Monitors business feedback after training to ensure training objectives are met.
Recruits and hires independent contractors and adjunct instructors that offer planning, coordination, and development of training topics.
Develops and implements marketing strategies to include print, digital, and social media.
Prepares professional documents including contracts, proposals, and agreements. Determines pay rates and invoicing costs.
Serves as the administrator for Salesforce CRM to manage business accounts, training sales, reporting, and related documents.
Refers and assists eligible businesses to apply for grant funds. Answers questions, ensures documentation meets State compliance and advises as grants mature.
Responds to referrals and inquiries for training solutions seeking to gain a service opportunity, as applicable.
Reviews and works within a department budget. Approves invoices to be paid and reimbursement requests for grant funding.
Participates in internal and external campus committees and advisory boards as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Unless otherwise approved under Hawkeye’s remote work policy, regular on-campus and/or onsite attendance is considered an essential function of the position.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, social/behavioral sciences, or related field and two (2) years of directly related work experience OR a combination of education and experience to total six (6) years.
Knowledge of training topics, state and federal regulations, and mandatory requirements.
Knowledge of statewide economic development programs and related legislation to guide and educate businesses.
Knowledge of various business industries and related training requirements.
Ability to travel to and from work sites and meetings, days and evenings.
Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse student population, faculty, staff, and the general public.
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal communication.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and video conferencing technology.
Demonstrated ability to execute organization and department policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education.
Experience with Salesforce software.
Business development/sales experience.
Experience building business relationships and networking with community groups.
Knowledge of State of Iowa grants regarding economic development and workforce training.
Working Conditions
The anticipated schedule is Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends for networking and/or professional development opportunities.
Work is performed either in or a combination of an office setting and/or classroom setting using technology. Requires good hand-eye coordination including visual acuity to use a keyboard and read technical information; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. Sit, stand, bend, lift and move frequently during working hours. During the course of the day, interact with students, faculty and staff in person, by telephone and by computers.
Employment Status
Full-time, exempt position with comprehensive or competitive benefits program including health, dental, vision, life, and LTD insurance, a Section 125 plan for medical and dependent care expenses; holiday, personal, sick, and vacation leave; tuition reimbursement; and a choice of retirement programs—IPERS (defined benefit) or TIAA (defined contribution).
The salary/wage range for this position begins at $48,250.

The Labor Center’s curricula and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducts research and education on issues related to labor and employment. The Labor Center’s curricula and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The Labor Center carries out policy relevant research on topics such as job quality and workforce development, and works with unions, policymakers and other stakeholders to develop innovative policy perspectives and programs. Responsibilities
Labor Center Organizing and Training Programs
Day-to-day operations of Labor Center Organizing and Training Programs. Within the parameters set by the Program Director/Leads. This work entails:
Contributes to the development of the overall program for Labor Center Organizing and Training Programs, with support from Program Director(s).
Develop the logistics work plan for the execution of Internship Programs.
Ensures the work plan is being executed well.
Outreach:
With direction from Program Directors(s)/Lead(s), develops outreach plans to identify union, worker and community organizing groups whose members and future members will benefit from participation in our trainings.
Contributes to do outreach to sites with director from program director.

Recruits and coordinates alumni participation in application process.
Ensures the internship sites are aware of and compliant with University guidelines.
Curriculum + Program Development:
Works with program lead to collect curriculum.

Location and Work Requirements
This position is based out of RMIAN’s office located in Westminster, Colorado. RMIAN’s operations are currently operating on a hybrid remote/in-person model requiring at least two days a week of work in RMIAN’s office or other work-related locations. Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The salary range is between $50,000 and $58,000. RMIAN offers a phenomenal benefits package, which includes:

Location and Work Requirements
This position is based out of RMIAN’s office located in Westminster, Colorado. RMIAN’s operations are currently operating on a hybrid remote/in-person model requiring at least two days a week of work in RMIAN’s office or other work-related locations. In order to protect our clients and team members, proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or proof of eligibility for exception, is required.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The salary range is between $50,000 and $58,000. RMIAN offers a phenomenal benefits package, which includes:

Duties
What makes this role unique?
This role has a direct positive impact on the environment that is rewarding and highly visible to the appreciative citizens of Washington. There are peak workload periods, typically in spring, however improvements to the program may be forthcoming and lessen this peak. You will be independently responsible for overseeing a litter pickup program as well as local government grants. You will need to align your time and responsibilities accordingly and adapt and respond quickly as situations change. What you will do:
Plan for and manage a 9-10 month seasonal employment program for adult crews.
Plan for and manage a teen litter pickup program with adult supervisors.
Recruit, interview, hire, manage paperwork for and train crew members and supervisors.
Manage and stay within the budget for Ecology’s Southwest Region litter pickup program.
Manage a vehicle fleet and ensure litter pickup and safety supplies are stocked and available when needed.
Ensure crews abide by all safety measures and make decisions quickly about crew deployment in times of high heat, during fire/smoke season and exposure to Covid-19.
Work with other state and local governments on litter and illegal dump cleanup and prevention measures, this includes managing grants and interagency agreements.
Must be highly organized and capable of managing heavy and diverse workloads at times.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent
Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, education, and volunteer experience. See below for how you may qualify. A total of Eight (8) years of experience and/or education as described below:
Professional level Experience in environmental analysis, control, planning, community outreach or supervisory experience.
Education: involving a major study in an environmental, physical, or natural science, planning, business administration or closely allied field.

Keeping Washington Clean and Evergreen The Solid Waste Management (SWM) program is looking to fill a Litter Coordinator (Natural Resource Specialist 5) position. This position is located in our Southwest Region Office in Lacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel throughout Ecology’s Southwest Region, visiting roads and other public lands to oversee crews hired for the purpose of cleaning up litter and illegal dumps to directly improve Washington’s environment. You will work independently to manage a program budget, maintain a vehicle fleet, ensure supplies are in stock, and hire all work crew members. You will work with other state and local governments on litter, illegal dump cleanup and prevention measures and oversight of grants. This position is an entry-level supervisor position which can provide valuable management experience.
