The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Environmental Public Health (EPH) section in Portland, Oregon is recruiting for an Assessment Program Manager to manage the Assessment Unit of the Environmental Public Health Section; the Unit includes the Climate and Health Program and the Environmental Toxics team. The Unit manager directs and oversees the work of professional employees. This position also is responsible for operationalizing equity best practices in the Unit and providing related guidance to the Environmental Public Health section.

Primarily office work with both local and long-distance trips for meetings outside of the office with partners and interested parties; local and long-distance travel for grant-related meetings. Most work can be done remotely; capability to work remotely is desired. The primary work location listed in this announcement, the Portland State Office Building located at 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232. Work location can be changed at any time at the discretion of the hiring manager.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience
OR
Two years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
