What you will do!
The Office of Data Strategy & Operations administers two programs - the Compass and Business Systems Unit teams. Overall, the ODSO team is responsible for maintaining and improving technology and data in OHA and working to help OHA become more strategic in its expenditures to improve data and technology. The Business Systems Unit (BSU) team is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating needs associated with the systems comprising the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES): The Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and Medicaid Modularity. The team works to support the OHA efforts to help identify and monitor the elimination of health inequities.
Mainframe Migration Analyst – Financial. In this position, you will support operatations and maintainence of MMIS. You will provide consultative advice. You will lead the efforts on system changes in MMIS by developing a crosswalk MMIS and other systems. For the full position description, click here.
Mainframe Modernization Analyst – Eligibility & Provider. In this position, you will provide consultative advice on the mandated and business-critical changes and activities associated with the Mainframe Modernization Project and the MMIS. You will lead the efforts on system changes in MMIS related to the Mainframe Modernization project with a focus on Eligibility and Provider services.

Senior Business Systems Analyst. In this position, you will support efforts with contractors and key invested partners to operate and maintain the MMIS for the state of Oregon. You will be responsible for supporting the mandated and business-critical changes and activities associated with the MMIS. You will be responsible for the coordination of participants in the identification of business processes and needs for the MMIS. You will ensure projects and change requests are on schedule to be completed as planned. You will represent the MMIS BSU in multiple meetings and will provide Medicaid policy and operational expertise to multiple business partners and agency leadership. Senior Business Systems Analyst – (EPSDT). In this position support efforts to operate and maintain MMIS. You will b responsible for supporting business-critical changes and activities associated with the MMIS. You will focus on the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) program operationaliZE EPSDT policies into the MMIS. You will help change request work associated with the EPSDT program and will also have an integral part in developing the claims processing associated with the program. Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
Example:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
