Webinar Facilitator/Coordinator – Nonprofit Governance & Leadership Development   Position Summary: The Webinar Facilitator/Coordinator – Nonprofit Governance & Leadership Development collaborates with Latinos LEAD staff, volunteers, and other Facilitator/Coordinators to plan, coordinate, and deliver virtual webinars (webinars) through Ready to LEAD, a nonprofit governance training program.  The Webinar Facilitator/Coordinator will assist with the presentation and evaluation of the virtual nonprofit governance webinar component of Ready to LEAD, including training materials development, outreach to prospective trainee cohorts, webinar scheduling and logistics, and webinar participant feedback surveys.  Ready to LEAD’s webinar pilot efforts are funded through a grant from the Amgen Foundation.   Ready to LEAD introduces Latino professionals to concepts and principles that promote successful service as nonprofit governing board members.  During the two-part webinars (two sessions of four hours each), trainees learn fundamental nonprofit sector and organization structure and operations, governing board roles and responsibilities, and how they can assess opportunities to serve on nonprofit governing boards.  Expertise in nonprofit management, governing board development and/or consulting, leadership development, or human resources preferred.  Confident public speaking and/or virtual webinar facilitation skills required.  Oversight and supervision for the Facilitator/Coordinator will be the Latinos LEAD Executive Director.    Key Duties and Responsibilities: Engage senior managers of corporations and other organizations to support webinar attendance by Latino professionals. This includes development of outreach documents and materials such as email templates, infographics, and introductory meeting discussion points.  Key to gaining this support will be developing relationships with leaders among corporate Latino employee resource groups. Recruit and train other webinar facilitators. Coordinate scheduling and logistics for webinar participants, Latinos LEAD staff, volunteers (panel members), and facilitators involved in producing and presenting webinars. Monitor performance and provide written and verbal reviews regarding the effectiveness of Ready to LEAD webinar facilitators. Develop and revise as needed webinar content, including pre-webinar Orientation Packet, webinar PowerPoint slides, and links to resources and reference materials provided to webinar participants.  The Facilitator/Coordinator must have access at all times to a robust internet connection, may be expected to facilitate webinars remotely, and will either co-facilitate or support facilitators throughout the webinar presentation.  A quiet workspace free from interruption and distraction is required, and the Facilitator/Coordinator will be expected to be available for at least 30 minutes setup prior to and 30 minutes for debriefing following the webinar. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: At least three years of experience in organizational development, training, or workshop/seminar/webinar development/coordination/facilitation in a nonprofit, private or public sector organization or for clients in those sectors. Strong adult education, facilitation, and presentation skills. Awareness of and commitment to Latino community and professional development, and in diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and how these principles can be applied to nonprofit governing board practices Manage sensitive and confidential personal and institutional information with integrity Superior organizational skills, a commitment to meet deadlines with fastidious attention to detail An ability to function independently, and to collaborate professionally with Latinos LEAD staff, other facilitators, and clients Strong verbal and written communication skills OTHER: Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools, Google shared documents, and online ZOOM meeting platform skills Experience with Salesforce or similar applications preferred Sufficient higher education and/or industry training to meet job qualifications   Part time: Approximately 10-15 hours per week (varies based on demand for webinars) Hourly compensation is $30 per hour; and $40.00 per hour for webinar facilitation. Opportunity Announcement: Webmaster/Online Systems Consultant Latinos LEAD (Latinos for Leadership Excellence And Diversity) seeks a Webmaster/Online Systems Consultant to help advance its mission to increase the representation of Latinos on nonprofit boards of directors.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the implementation and ongoing development of Latinos LEAD’s public facing web presence and internal systems. Latinos LEAD is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in California in 2017.  Latinos LEAD collaborates with nonprofit organizations in pursuit of two fundamentally crucial and interrelated outcomes: 1) Recruit and train highly-qualified Latino board members; and, 2) Foster newly appointed board member success and retention through formal mentoring and by helping nonprofits initiate customized inclusion blueprints.  Visit www.latinosleadnow.org for more information.  The Webmaster will work with a team of Los Angeles-based Latinos LEAD staff, volunteers, and consultants to 1) Update Latinos LEAD website with new content and features; 2) Administer organization Google Suite account; 3) Provide ongoing recommendations for improved website appearance, user experience, and online integration of program and management applications; and, 4) Post content to social media as needed.  The Webmaster reports to the Executive Director, and will carry out the following tasks: Update and maintain the Latinos LEAD website, including: Visual updates Content updates Technical updates to the Latino Online Board Opportunities exchange, a comprehensive platform to match nonprofit boards of directors with qualified Latino professionals Administer Google Suite account, primarily creation and deletion of user accounts Administer Latinos LEAD Salesforce, including creation of custom objects and automated website integrations Post provided content to Latinos LEAD social media accounts Providing other services as deemed appropriate to the effective execution of Latinos LEAD administration and programs   Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with Wordpress, including familiarity with native Wordpress hooks and actions and plugin hooks and actions Fluent with PHP, SQL, JavaScript, CSS and HTML Basic knowledge of FTP Experience with Salesforce including: Creating custom objects Managing relationships between Salesforce objects Running basic custom reports Basic Salesforce REST API knowledge Basic familiarity with Google Suite administration Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse constituents and provide leadership in organizational change Must have own computer, robust internet access, and ability to work remotely Strong skills in Word, excel, file/document sharing, PowerPoint, and internet research Excellent verbal communication and writing (content development, editing, proofreading) skills This is an independent contractor role, which will transition to an employment agreement as the programs become implemented and standardized.  The fee range is $35 to $50 hourly depending on experience and qualifications.  Time commitment through December 31, 2021 is approximately four hours per week, occasionally as many eight hours per week.  Occasional remote meetings and event support will be expected. All out-of-pocket expenses, including mileage at the federal rate, are reimbursed. Associate Producer - Training Programs Position summary: The Associate Producer works with Latinos LEAD staff and consultants to plan and coordinate services related to Latinos LEAD virtual adult education programs. This individual will set up, operate and tear down audio visual equipment and operate related digital applications to ensure a professional quality experience for program facilitators and trainees. Key Duties and Responsibilities: ● During training events the Associate Producer is responsible for running the Zoom conference call, changing the program feed to either a camera shot, presentation, or whiteboard view, and recording seminar for future review. ● Consultation regarding the purchase of equipment and/or digital applications to ensure the programs are run at the highest production value. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: ● Minimum 1-2 years experience in audio, video, live production engineering. ● Experience operating show and media control systems. Presentation system configuration and maintenance experience. ● Basic knowledge of systems engineering principles, audio and video equipment. ● Demonstrated foresight, creativity, and the ability to resolve basic A/V challenges during the Inclusion Blueprint seminar. ● Strong verbal and written communication skills, team player, capable of working with multiple individuals to resolve issues. ● Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems and related hardware. ● Working knowledge of camera, lighting and projection operation. ● Competency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook) ● Professional and confident demeanor while operating A/V equipment during small group seminars in a virtual setting compliant with COVID safety precautions (between 1-2 Latinos LEAD staff member/consultant present in-person)
