PeopleTec is currently seeking a Jr. Cyber Analyst to support our Peterson AFB, CO location.
We are looking for candidates for a junior level Risk Management Framework (RMF) cyber analyst. The Jr. cyber analyst will be responsible for development of RMF Assessment and Authorization documentation, standard operating procedures, policies and security instructions for multiple systems located at Peterson AFB. Candidates will require some understanding of network architectures to assist in the design of new systems.
Duties Include:
Responsible for development of Cyber Security policy, procedures and regulations to assist with identifying potential Cyber Security issues
Will monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks and databases
Implement, enforce, communicate and develop security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications programs
Enter A&A data and documentation into eMASS
Maintenance/continuous monitoring of authorization packages, security auditing and configuration management reporting
Required Skills/Experience:
Meet minimum DoD 8570-01-M for IAM Level 1
Sec+ and an OS Certification
Some RMF experience
Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings
Good communication skills with users and co-workers
Ability to adapt to a dynamic customer-oriented environment
Excellent technical writing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Past experience in IT and/or Systems Administration
Travel: 10%
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
BS degree and 2+ years experience with system and/or network administration with knowledge of RMF and scanning tools
