Assistant Health Supervisor General Duties: Working under the regular supervision of the Camp Health Supervisor, Camp Director and the technical supervision of a licensed physician who is on call, the Assistant Health Supervisor provides health services for Sky High Ranch. A primary function of this, and every other job at the Sky High Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the care of all cases of illness and accident to campers and staff.
Implement health and emergency procedures as written in Colorado Council's Health Supervisor's Manual, Medical Standing Orders, and in accordance with Girl Scouts, Colorado Department of Health & Child Protective Services and American Camp Association (ACA) standards.
Maintain routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the camp director, camp health supervisor and in keeping with established guidelines.
Provide care for campers and staff who are confined to the health center, including meals, rest, nursing care and supervision.
Administer first-aid care, going to other locations on site as needed.
Instruct counseling and program staff in their health responsibilities, specifically reviewing first-aid procedures most likely to occur in their areas of activity.
Arrange for medical advice and treatment according to procedures.
Transport patients to health care facilities. Give instructions to others who may transport campers. Make emergency transportation arrangements when required.
Talk to parents to obtain health and treatment information and to inform them when medications, trips to health facilities or overnights in the health center are necessary.
Maintain good relationships with health and emergency service providers and the public.
Keep the camp health supervisor and camp director informed of all cases of illness and/or injury, the need for medical transportation and of all persons who stay at the health center.
Work in conjunction with Program Counselors, CITs, PAs, and Volunteers providing adequate support.
Demonstrate a recognition and understanding of good customer service in all dealings and interactions as an employee of Girl Scouts of Colorado by maintaining constructive relationships with co-workers, members, parents, volunteers, and the community.
Talk to parents to share information, to get input, to reassure them and to promote a positive image of camp.
Provide support to volunteer staff as needed.
Operate the health center and maintain supplies and equipment.
Implement procedures for dispensing routine medications and charting of all medication.
Arrange for qualified health center and first aid coverage when on time off or out of camp. Instruct qualified first aides as health center backups.
Prepare first-aid kits for specified permanent areas and for checkout. Resupply weekly during the season.
Follow up to assure campers receive medications as directed. Follow up on treatment.
Always maintain the health center and personal living quarters in clean and presentable condition.
Supervise the general health and safety of campers and staff.
Review health history and health examination records for all campers and staff, making sure that required consents are signed.
Contact parents/guardians if important information is missing.
Inform cabin staff in writing of health conditions and the needs of campers in their care.
Collect, safeguard, and administer medications for campers. Return camper medications at session end.
Consult with and advise campers and staff about health problems.
Screen the physical condition of campers and staff as directed in the Medical Standing Orders within 24 hours of arrival at camp and before specific activities.
Inspect sanitation and safety practices throughout the camp at least weekly. Submit written reports to the camp health supervisor.
Advise staff on accommodations for special needs.
Complete written reports.
Submit completed injury and illness reports to the camp health supervisor immediately after each occurrence and camper forms at the end of each session.
Record treatment of campers in a daily log. Include routine medications and treatment.
Submit supply and equipment requisitions according to schedule.
Work with camp health supervisor to submit properly completed insurance claim forms as directed immediately after each occurrence.
Collect first-aid report forms from all unit and activity first-aid kits and record them in the logbook weekly.
Send written first-aid or illness reports home with campers.
Prepare accurate inventories and reports. Submit written recommendations.
Make written recommendations for supply needs, changes in general procedures and about site hazards.
Participate as a professional member of the total staff in providing effective staff service in all aspects of this job.
Present a positive image to parents and visitors through attitude, dress, and courtesy.
Perform other duties to foster a cooperative climate and a smoothly operating camp.
Participate in pre-camp and in-service training, attend staff meetings, and contribute to the planning and coordinating of the work of the total staff team.

Bilingual Behavioral Health Clinician Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Clinical and Educational Initiatives and the Lead Behavioral Health Clinician the Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is expected to assess client needs, counsel and refer clients, and develop client plans based on best practices. This position will be required to speak, read, and write in Spanish to assist in serving our Spanish speaking population. Essential Functions: Provide short-term and/or crisis reproductive health counseling on a referral basis for patients at PPIL centers. Prepare relevant case records, documents, reports and correspondence in a timely and organized manner. Consult, refer cases, and work actively with other agencies and community groups to aid clients in accessing resources. Use an affirmative approach to validate LGBTQIA clients by creating an inclusive space. Understand the needs and challenges of the LGBTQIA community to provide patient culturally sensitive and patient centered care. Promote PPIL’s family planning, abortion services, and gender affirming services to health systems and community partners serving PPIL’s population. Understand, commit to, and practice a customer-centered inter-disciplinary team approach to health care delivery. Adhere to the code of ethics for the relevant discipline (e.g. NASW, ACA, APA,WPATH) and demonstrates a commitment to PPIL core values of respect, knowledge, responsibility, health, compassion and access; practice these values in relations with internal and external customers. Understand and utilize Planned Parenthood's principles, practice guidelines and informed consent model for gender affirming care to provide appropriate counseling and care to transgender, gender non-conforming, gender questioning or gender non-binary individuals. Consistent with an informed consent model for gender-affirming care, perform a comprehensive psycho-social intake for patients (and parents of adolescents) who are interested in gender affirming hormone therapy and provide support and services to patients receiving gender affirming hormone therapy, including counseling, case management, letters for gender affirming surgery, documentation for gender marker corrections on identity documents, letters for surgical, insurance documentation and referrals. Obtain prior approvals for medications, which may include, but are not limited to, gender affirming hormone therapy, birth control, and antiviral HIV prevention therapy when needed from an insurance payer or patient assistance programs. Assess for depression with the PHQ9 and perform SBIRT to assess substance use. Participate in quality assessment and quality improvement projects. Assist the lead clinician in review of annual behavioral health policies, mandated reporting, and policies around minors regarding counseling sessions and access. Participate in Peer chart audits. Other Responsibilities: 1. Provide short-term and crisis counseling for individuals, couples, and/or families regarding all relevant issues related to reproductive health services at the health center. 2. Provide ongoing direction and consultation for staff involved in patient education. 3. Keep records in accordance with documentation standards. 4. Manage confidentiality of clients; work with law enforcement agencies when required; activate the community mental health system when required. 5. Collect counseling program planning data as directed. 6. Participate as part of the Consumer Services team on various projects requiring counseling expertise, i.e. staff training manuals, patient satisfaction survey, and patient education materials. 7. Attend monthly staff meetings. 8. Engage in monthly supervision with lead clinician and behavioral health consultant to review and discuss case load and challenging cases. 9. Participates in relevant PPIL staff meetings. 10. Provide support to PPIL staff by providing resources, referrals, engaging in organized group discussions, individual brief check-ins and limited (1-2) counseling sessions as a bridge to care. 11. Job Summary:
The Director of Crisis Services is responsible for leading outpatient crisis services throughout Cummins, consistent with evidence-based practices that are recognized within the behavioral health industry. Working in collaboration with the organization's leadership, the Director of Crisis Services leads program and service development initiatives and ensures the quality and consistency of this division's clinical practices throughout Cummins' service delivery area. In coordination with the organization's leadership, provides direct support and assistance to persons in crisis and the clinical providers working within this division; conducts quality and performance improvement initiatives; and assists colleagues as they develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of persons in crisis and organizational systems that assist persons in crisis.
The Director of Crisis Services provides a combination of clinical knowledge, case management, leadership, supervision, program evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) services to establish, support, continuously improve and maintain a high-performing, high-fidelity crisis team serving consumers in psychiatric, substance use, suicidal, homicidal, or other crises.
The crisis team provides crisis intervention services to diverse individuals, families, and other professionals assisting those in crisis. Utilizing contemporary crisis prevention and intervention evidence-based practices, team members work as a member of an interdisciplinary team that includes Peer Recovery Specialists, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Crisis Intervention Therapists, and community emergency response systems including but not limited to local law enforcement, hospitals, and emergency first responders.
The Director of Crisis Services position may work non-traditional hours as this position is the member of a Crisis Response Team that serves Cummins consumers 24-hours per day, 7 days per week. The position consists of a combination of virtual service and face-to-face service in the community, mindful of safety guidelines and risk mitigation procedures.
The crisis team will utilize the following models and approaches to guide the individual and/or family in a position of crisis to a position of safety, necessary to pursue whole person health including:
Evidence based practice for Assessing and Managing Suicide Response.

Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians is a nationally recognized center of excellence in orthopedic sports medicine, orthopedic spine surgery, and interventional spine treatments. We have locations throughout the United States that specialize in providing state-of-the-art, minimally invasive treatments for complex neck and spine problems as well as sports-related injuries and conditions. Job Summary: The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for handling all front desk duties for the clinic. This individual greets, schedules, checks patients in/out, answers the telephone and routes calls appropriately. The Patient Care Coordinator works to create a favorable impression with patients and guests and ensures that a high level of quality customer service is delivered. Duties and Responsibilities: · Greets patients with a smile and accommodates patients’ needs in a comfortable and pleasant manner · Checks-in patients upon arrival at the office, as well as obtains necessary financial, personal and/or medical updates.
