Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Qualifications

• HVAC experience with EPA certification (required) (most important)
• Appliance repair knowledge, including for washers and dryers
• General carpentry, electrical, and plumbing knowledge. Prior apartment maintenance experience not required.

200-unit apartment complex in Southeast Las Vegas / Winchester / Paradise (3 mi East of The Strip)

Duties

• HVAC repair and replacement
• Regular apartment maintenance requests
• Appliance repair
• Plumbing

• Carpentry

• Locksmith

• Occasional apartment make-ready of vacant apartments.

You will NOT be responsible for pool cleaning.

You will NOT be responsible for cleaning the grounds or landscaping.

Your job is mostly filling maintenance requests or work orders from tenants in occupied units. We have another maintenance employee that focuses on make-ready of vacant apartments. The most important skill required is HVAC / air conditioning / heating and cooling; if you can't repair air conditioners, do not bother applying.

Additional compensation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $19.00 /hour
