This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Hybrid work schedule 2-3 days on site or as needed, 2-3 days from home.
Days and hours of work may vary according to the needs of The Marine Mammal Center.

Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is focused on providing technical and administrative support to The Marine Mammal Center’s Marketing & Communications department. Areas of responsibility include support for our CRM, email/SMS marketing efforts, and website content. The Marketing Coordinator will also support the team by providing assistance with public relations, social media, and photography.
Essential Functions
Technical & Administration Support: 65%
Provide overall technical and administrative support for our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, EveryAction, public relations and social media for the Marketing & Communications department.
Execute data loads into our CRM from third party sources, including but not limited to, rescue hotline, Eventbrite, and Facebook.
Facilitate engagement form creation and reporting.
Ensure our CRM system remains up to date and processes run smoothly by continually reviewing processes and updating accordingly.
Create and send non-automated marketing emails and Short Message Services (SMS) and respond to SMS messages.
Monitor public relations media inbox and respond to requests for interviews, information, photos, and videos.
Coordinate public relations media interviews and send follow-ups after interviews.
Monitor comments on all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X(Twitter)) and respond or flag as needed and respond to social media channel inbox messages.
Create content for social media channels including, but not limited to, writing posts and finding photos/videos.
Website Content: 20%
Manage website content update process and collaborate with internal content submitters to ensure all content is ready for publication.
Edit, create, and post website content as requested which includes, but is not limited to:
Adding news content such as web stories and press releases.
Update content such as programmatic or language updates.
Daily patient imports from the Center’s electronic animal records database system (Ruby).
Weekly patient photo updates.
Update staff biographies and job postings as requested.
Post new publications and online learning resources as requested.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactic implementation including updating content, redirects, etc.
Photography Management: 10%

3 years of relevant experience in communications or related field.

Some work may occur in outdoor weather conditions and elements.

THL’s Corporate Projects team is looking for an experienced project manager, communicator, and strategic thinker who can propose and test effective new strategies to advocate to a corporate audience for meaningful animal welfare reforms. As Corporate Projects Lead, you will join a team of high-impact advocates who engage with the country’s largest food companies on the most pressing issues affecting farmed animals. Your writing and communication expertise as well as your project management skills will underpin our Corporate Engagement work.
Your position plays a critical role in ensuring that THL can effectively engage with food companies about animal welfare, whether that be through the execution of new strategies, or the creation and management of educational websites, scientific reports, or other media. We want you because you know how to motivate audiences who might not think like you. You have experience managing multiple cross-departmental projects at once. You have a background in advocacy, communication, and strategic problem-solving. You can make decisions independently when faced with uncertainty and limited information. You’re ready to recognize corporations that make progress for animals and call out those that fail to stop cruel practices. This position reports directly to the Corporate Projects Manager.
This is a full-time, remote position. This position provides the opportunity for optional domestic and international travel, equivalent to approximately 1-3 trips per year, for week-long summits and retreats.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Invent, evaluate, develop, and project manage new and innovative strategies—from national reports and cross-departmental projects to individual tools—that will influence corporations and their top executives. Lead collaboration with various teams at THL to execute these strategies.
Author and design strategic resources such as newsletters, websites, case studies, advertisements, and reports to educate corporate executives about animal welfare issues. Collaborate with the Corporate Engagement team to plan the distribution of these materials.
Develop and maintain expertise on corporate communications and marketing strategies used within the food industry. Act as a subject matter expert on effective corporate messaging to other THL departments, volunteers, coalition groups, outside vendors, and other stakeholders; this requires frequent professional communication.
Understand and stay up to date on the broader industry landscape on animal welfare issues and the nuances of the individual animal welfare policies THL is requesting of companies.
Leverage a variety of digital tools and platforms, such as Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and Salesforce, to keep data and information organized and accessible.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience: You have enough professional or non-professional experience with advocacy work (via nonprofit or political campaigns, grassroots activism, environmental or climate activism, or other forms of activism) to demonstrate that you have a strong understanding and detailed knowledge of how to effectively drive systems transformation. You have experience in project management that will allow you to plan and execute complex, cross-departmental projects.
Communication: You have compelling written and verbal communication skills, which will enable you to present THL’s message professionally and convincingly in reports, websites, and other content designed for high level executives and public audiences. In crafting communications, you take into consideration the differing motivations of executives, activists, and the general public.
Strategic thinking: The right approaches will come as a result of deeply comprehending THL’s goals as well as the motivations of corporations and the hurdles they are facing. When each choice is a strategic one, the impact of all judgments can increase. You take ownership of thinking critically about your projects. YOUR OPPORTUNITY
THL’s Corporate Projects team is looking for an experienced project manager, communicator, and strategic thinker who can propose and test effective new strategies to advocate to a corporate audience for meaningful animal welfare reforms. As Corporate Projects Lead, you will join a team of high-impact advocates who engage with the country’s largest food companies on the most pressing issues affecting farmed animals. Your writing and communication expertise as well as your project management skills will underpin our Corporate Engagement work.
Your position plays a critical role in ensuring that THL can effectively engage with food companies about animal welfare, whether that be through the execution of new strategies, or the creation and management of educational websites, scientific reports, or other media. We want you because you know how to motivate audiences who might not think like you. You have experience managing multiple cross-departmental projects at once. You have a background in advocacy, communication, and strategic problem-solving. You can make decisions independently when faced with uncertainty and limited information. You’re ready to recognize corporations that make progress for animals and call out those that fail to stop cruel practices. This position reports directly to the Corporate Projects Manager.
This is a full-time, remote position. This position provides the opportunity for optional domestic and international travel, equivalent to approximately 1-3 trips per year, for week-long summits and retreats.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Invent, evaluate, develop, and project manage new and innovative strategies—from national reports and cross-departmental projects to individual tools—that will influence corporations and their top executives. Lead collaboration with various teams at THL to execute these strategies.
Author and design strategic resources such as newsletters, websites, case studies, advertisements, and reports to educate corporate executives about animal welfare issues. Collaborate with the Corporate Engagement team to plan the distribution of these materials.
Develop and maintain expertise on corporate communications and marketing strategies used within the food industry. Act as a subject matter expert on effective corporate messaging to other THL departments, volunteers, coalition groups, outside vendors, and other stakeholders; this requires frequent professional communication.
Understand and stay up to date on the broader industry landscape on animal welfare issues and the nuances of the individual animal welfare policies THL is requesting of companies.
Leverage a variety of digital tools and platforms, such as Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and Salesforce, to keep data and information organized and accessible.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience: You have enough professional or non-professional experience with advocacy work (via nonprofit or political campaigns, grassroots activism, environmental or climate activism, or other forms of activism) to demonstrate that you have a strong understanding and detailed knowledge of how to effectively drive systems transformation. You have experience in project management that will allow you to plan and execute complex, cross-departmental projects.
Communication: You have compelling written and verbal communication skills, which will enable you to present THL’s message professionally and convincingly in reports, websites, and other content designed for high level executives and public audiences. In crafting communications, you take into consideration the differing motivations of executives, activists, and the general public.
Strategic thinking: The right approaches will come as a result of deeply comprehending THL’s goals as well as the motivations of corporations and the hurdles they are facing. When each choice is a strategic one, the impact of all judgments can increase. You take ownership of thinking critically about your projects. Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this role is $67,130 - $82,048 USD . At The Humane League, we believe in maintaining a fair and equitable work environment for all employees. Based in the Community & Civic Engagement department, Chispa has programs in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, and Texas.
LCV is hiring a Chispa Texas Digital Organizer who will integrate field organizing with online action and work with the Chispa TX Program Director to oversee the online presence for Chispa TX. The focus of this role is on building, engaging, and growing our bilingual online community via social media, email, mobile, online advocacy, and other Conservation Voter Movement resources and tools. The Digital Organizer will use digital tools to advance our campaigns and strategy in the field and online and mobilize and grow our statewide base of volunteers and supporters around our organizing campaigns. This position will join a dynamic, skilled and growing data-driven organizing team, working closely with the Chispa TX Program Director, Chispa national team, and community members and leaders. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated, enthusiastic organizer passionate about the fight for climate justice and ready to take action to hold polluters accountable and advocate for community-driven solutions to address climate change and environmental racism.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Chispa National Communications Director, Chispa Digital & Creative Campaigns Manager, and Chispa National Senior Director to engage supporters to take action and keep in touch with our program through email, social media, digital ads, mobile platforms, petitions, website(s) and other online mediums, including organizing online supporters to take offline action in order to support our campaigns and program.
Work with Chispa TX Program Director to ensure accurate data program tracking related to the email lists, acquisition, event participation, signups, Chispa TX website, and Chispa TX social channels to improve the effectiveness of our campaigns and program and to inform future strategies.

LCV is hiring a Chispa Texas Digital Organizer who will integrate field organizing with online action and work with the Chispa TX Program Director to oversee the online presence for Chispa TX. The focus of this role is on building, engaging, and growing our bilingual online community via social media, email, mobile, online advocacy, and other Conservation Voter Movement resources and tools. The Digital Organizer will use digital tools to advance our campaigns and strategy in the field and online and mobilize and grow our statewide base of volunteers and supporters around our organizing campaigns. This position will join a dynamic, skilled and growing data-driven organizing team, working closely with the Chispa TX Program Director, Chispa national team, and community members and leaders. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated, enthusiastic organizer passionate about the fight for climate justice and ready to take action to hold polluters accountable and advocate for community-driven solutions to address climate change and environmental racism.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Chispa National Communications Director, Chispa Digital & Creative Campaigns Manager, and Chispa National Senior Director to engage supporters to take action and keep in touch with our program through email, social media, digital ads, mobile platforms, petitions, website(s) and other online mediums, including organizing online supporters to take offline action in order to support our campaigns and program.
Work with Chispa TX Program Director to ensure accurate data program tracking related to the email lists, acquisition, event participation, signups, Chispa TX website, and Chispa TX social channels to improve the effectiveness of our campaigns and program and to inform future strategies.
Work with Chispa National Communications & Digital team and consultants to produce and disseminate multimedia content that centers the stories of communities of color at the local level. Promote via social media, email newsletters, etc.
Support management of social media and maintain all Chispa TX digital content up to date, including updating a future Chispa TX website, as needed, and maintaining an archive of all multimedia content across programs and campaigns.
Support creation of online content for events, training, and volunteer opportunities, including, but not limited to, flyers, online forms, social media posts, linktree, zoom functions and technology, etc.
Develop materials and workshops for grassroots organizing base and promotores on best online digital practices and support implementation.
Find new innovative opportunities for audience expansion by staying connected to peers and digital communities.
Support the Chispa TX Organizing team with data training, regular reports, and daily use of EveryAction and Google Spreadsheets to track progress.
Travel up to 10% for organizing events, staff retreats, meetings, conferences and professional development opportunities, as needed.

Qualifications:
Work Experience: Required – Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, online organizing, online marketing, communications, email advocacy or new media. Experience using online tools to grow, engage and mobilize a membership base. Must have experience working with EveryAction or another database. Preferred – Grassroots organizing, issue-based or candidate campaign experience. Experience in a political context, preferably in a Latine/Tejano, progressive, or environmental organization.

Position Summary
Project Analysts and Associates at Blue Forest focus on the development of conservation finance projects while coordinating and contributing to other aspects of Blue Forest workstreams, including research and science efforts, communications, education and capacity building, and building and maintaining partnerships. This typically includes working on two to three projects simultaneously and, over time, developing a specialization (e.g., geographic, issue area, modeling, communications) that advances project development across the organization.

One role will be a generalist focused fully on project development
One to two hires will have a portion of their role that leans into the scientific modeling side of project development, benefit scoping and evaluation, science communication, and research.

Responsibilities & Duties
Individual FRB Project Development (50-75%)
Support the development of multiple FRB projects from conception to execution, including bringing structure and processes to innovative and ambiguous projects. Project workstreams will include:
Partnering with land managers (such as the Forest Service) on implementation strategies for priority restoration projects
Researching and engaging potential project beneficiaries
Quantifying and communicating project benefits with internal and external science partners
Developing proposals and securing funding commitments from beneficiaries
Engaging community stakeholders, Native nations, and potential project collaborators
Develop and execute project materials such as presentations, two-pagers, and memorandums to support project development and partner engagement
Foster relationships with project development partners across a portfolio of project assignments
Integrate and enhance DEI and tribal engagement throughout the project development process
Developing Expertise (20-40%)
Identify one to two areas to develop expertise within the organization. This could include a geographic or ecosystem focus, implementation or permitting, communications, scientific research, facilitation, etc.
For one to two hires, ecosystem benefit modeling and benefit scoping will likely be 30-45% of the role. This could include modeling fire ecology, forest or watershed restoration, or research on other benefits of restoration activities.
Play a key role in supporting initiatives in these areas of expertise, with increasing levels of leadership
Partnerships, Operations, and Communications (10-15%)
Support planning site visits with project partners, executing grant reporting, enhancing internal knowledge sharing, and developing system processes and organization
Develop communications materials such as 2-pagers, story maps, and memos for projects, initiatives, and research project deliverables
Contribute to the Blue Forest newsletter and other email and social media campaigns where appropriate and where materials can elevate key partnerships and/or project visibility
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Compensation & Benefits

Summary
We are seeking someone who wants to make an impact in Democratic politics and flex their creative muscles, all while putting their strong political acumen, cross-team collaboration, and project management skills to the test. The right person for this job will be passionate, able to multi-task, while working collaborative to provide strategic guidance to clients and a team player. This role is part of the Client Services (political) team helping our clients win.
The Senior Account Executive reports to a Partner within the Client Services team. Success requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate, meeting tight deadlines and flexibility.
The Client Services team’s primary responsibility is developing unique direct mail strategy and tactics for each campaign, our work goes beyond just mail and we act as full strategic partners in with our campaigns. The Client Services team leads the internal team working closely with Pivot’s Creative, Production and Targeting teams to develop powerful strategies and products for our clients. Each member of our team brings diverse perspectives, unique expertise, background, and perspective to bear on making an impact in Democratic campaigns and organizations across the country and at all levels of office and with organizations in 2024.
This is a full-time, temporary position through Election Day 2024 with competitive salary and excellent benefits. The nature of our business requires long hours during the election cycle and we expect all staff to be flexible in this area. However, Pivot works to ensure all staff maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
4+ years of experience with politics, organizing, advocacy, or labor unions is required.
Prior campaign experience.
Previous experience providing clients with strategic advice and being a thought partner for client teams preferred.
Ability to organize and manage deadlines, with consideration of differing work styles.
Patience, understanding and the flexibility to quickly adapt.
Strong communication skills; writing, editing and attention to detail.
Proven experience managing deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Client Management
Provide client with strategic advice, creative and message development, and collaborate with the campaign team.
Ensure client is aware of project timelines and updates and manage client expectations appropriately.
Assist client with projects to be value-add to the team including press releases, questionnaires, talking points, policy proposals, and communication plans.
Content Creation
Create campaign mail plans and budgets in collaboration with the production, targeting and creative departments.
Write mail concepts and copy that meet client’s messaging goals.
Drive mail plan processes from beginning to end, with appropriate communication internally and with clients.
Oversee quality control of internal and external outputs to ensure error-free work.
Internal Processes
Collaborate across teams to ensure timelines, calmly in a fast-paced environment.
Manage internal processes on deadlines, keeping internal stakeholders updated.
Participate in the proofreading and editing process.

Compensation & Benefits
The salary for this position is set at $90,000 per year. There is also the opportunity for end of election bonuses, based off individual and firm performance. To ensure pay equity across our team, salaries are non-negotiable.
