Job description The Adult and Children Behavioral Health unit consists of the monitoring and planning of public behavioral health adult and children’s programs in Cuyahoga County. Under the supervision of the Director of Adult Behavioral Health Programs, performs administrative and secretarial support duties to the Adult, and Children Program, Planning and System Development staff which may include a variety of Medical, Nursing, and Social Service’s professionals. Duties will include administrative office management duties or functions/tasks, operation of various office equipment, develop and maintain various record keeping databases, and use of computer programs to process correspondence and reports of the ADAMHS Board. Assists the Directors and departmental staff in carrying out day-to-day tasks. Maintains information by applicable rules and procedures regarding confidentiality. High School Diploma or equivalent with proficiency in computer skills, typing and use of office machines (faxes, copiers, printers, etc.). Two years experience in office and administrative support or a degree or certification in office management Must be a self-starter, have the able to follow directions, and demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills. Must be detail-oriented. Have a professional demeanor. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in performing AA duties and tasks. The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is seeking an  Evaluation and Research Officer  who, under the supervision of the Chief Strategy & Performance Officer, provides quantitative data and qualitative analysis-based reports with narrative summaries for program evaluation, quality improvement, research projects, and grant proposals. Develops key performance indicators, metrics, and reports to support the evaluation, quality improvement, research, and administrative needs of the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County. Provides analytical and reporting support to Board staff enhancing the value of routinely collected data while ensuring strict data security and client confidentiality. Applies critical thinking skills to make recommendations to address operational challenges in the data lifecycle, and to optimize efforts to address social challenges related to the mission of the ADAMHS Board.   Qualifications for this position are: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field. Two or more years’ experience performing statistical/data analysis utilizing SQL, SAS, SPSS, or other high-level language for performing data management and quantitative analysis. Experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Database technology stack, with ability to query and manipulate data using SQL programming language. Proficient in coding language(s) (e.g., R, Python), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data collection technology (e.g., WizeHive, EMR/EHR software, Qualtrics). Expert-level proficiency in Excel. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Visio). Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and produce results in a fast paced and changing environment. Must be professional in appearance, attitude, and motivation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be culturally sensitive and receptive to diversity in the workplace. The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is seeking a  External Affairs Officer  who, under the supervision of the Director of External Affairs, assists in promoting the public image, role and sustainability of the ADAMHS Board and a Recovery Oriented System of Care by creating printed materials and electronic media, such as news releases, brochures, flyers, websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Designs, implements and facilitates marketing, public relations, social media, faith-based, and culturally competent activities to increase and maintain public awareness. Minimum Qualifications for this position are: Three years’ experience working in a marketing, communications or public relations environment. Knowledge and real-world experience in writing, editing and crafting content for social media space. Knowledge of social media tools and techniques and an understanding of respective participants. Understanding of and the ability to navigate the social media landscape. Ability to attend evening/weekend meetings and events as required. Ability to use Microsoft Office and to quickly learn InDesign, VPN and new tools. Ability in graphic and publication design. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have a thirst for exploring new technologies, which can be used to further promote the ADAMHS Board and behavioral health issues throughout the community.
