The Hope College Department of Theatre invites applications for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre beginning in Fall 2022.  The Theatre Department seeks an experienced teacher/artist to teach performance courses and direct 1 production per academic year in a vibrant program that embraces “Art that makes a difference”.  This one year visiting position will potentially teach several levels of acting, directing, and/or theatre history in a NAST accredited B.A. theatre program as well as introductory courses in the college’s General Education program. Terminal degree required with desired experience in college-level teaching, and directing experience in professional theatre.  Review of applications will begin on March 11, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled.
